Derrick O. Hull

MSN, FNP-C

Derrick is a Family Nurse Practitioner with Stanley Schwartz MD Inc. While he has worked with Stanley Schwartz, MD INC since February 2010, he has trained with the practice since 2008. Derrick provides care to all types of patients, from newborns to the geriatric patients.

Derrick was born on the Caribbean Island of St. Vincent, and grew up in New York. If you listen carefully you might be able to detect a residual accent. He joined the Navy at 18 years old, and spent six years as a Hospital Corpsman. Two of those years were spent with the Marines. Derrick left the Navy with his LVN, and worked his way through nursing school. He graduated from Riverside Community College in 1999. Afterwards, he attended the University of Phoenix and earned first his Bachelors of Science in Nursing and graduating in 2010 with his Masters. During his time as a Registered Nurse he worked both in the Intensive Care Unit and the Emergency Room at several local hospitals, including Moreno Valley Community Hospital and St. Bernadines Medical Center. He is Nationally Certified by The American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. Derrick loves to teach and can be seen accompanied by students at any given time.

Derrick is married and has three children of his own, (twin boys and a tag-along girl) so he is use to the everyday problems that parents may experience with your child.
